Introduction to Aromatherapy... a hands on experience!
Saturday, June 2 from 10am - 12 noon
Essential oils are “volatile” oils (they evaporate!) that have the ability to affect other living things, depending on the oil’s chemical profile. They cause documented physical (e.g., warming, anti-inflammatory) and related emotional (relaxing, stimulating) effects when used knowingly and carefully. Essential oils are also used successfully to enhance spiritual practices!
In this two-hour class: Learn what essential oils are, including how they differ from "fixed" oils such as olive oil * Learn how essential oils act on the physical, spiritual and emotional bodies * Essential oil safety * How to mix and blend oils * The ten "essential" essential oils and their profiles * A hands-on project - make and take home an aromatherapy spray! * $35 includes materials for use in-class, an aromatherapy spray you will craft and take with you, and a class guide for you to keep!

About the Instructor: Suzanne learned Aromatherapy from Demetria Clark of Heart of Herbs (http://www.heartofherbs.com/). She took Demetria’s Aromatherapy certification class in 2005 and has taken additional aromatherapy certificate classes online. From 2005—2007 she made and sold her own aromatherapy products under her business eSCENTial Sense!, while staying home with her two small children. Suzanne is on a lifelong journey of spirit. She holds a B.A. in Communication and an M.A. in Sociology. She is an eclectic witch, a Minister through UniversalLife Church, and has training in Reiki and Cranio-Sacral therapy. She is a professional Tarot reader with over 20 year’s experience, and is a member of the American Tarot Association and the National Association for Holistic Aromatherapy. More recently, she keeps busy working as a writer and a social media consultant.

Tarot 102 Reading "Between" the Cards

Take the next step in learing to read the tarot with Tarot 102! This 3 week class will cover use and practice of many different tarot spreads including the “seasonal spread” that Mary C created and reads with.
We will discus the use of a secondary deck and special uses or specific information. “Feeling” what the cards mean for the person you are reading. Stretching your intuition and develop a relationship with your deck.

The Robin's Nest is putting together a group of people that would like to travel to The Temple of Witchcraft's summer festival!
TempleFest is a weekend gathering for members and friends of the Temple of Witchcraft on a private farm in South Hampton, New Hampshire, featuring local artisans and vendors, workshops with Temple teachers, and their Summer Solstice ritual on Saturday.
TempleFest's 2012 special guest for is Dorothy Morrison, noted witch and author of The Craft, Everyday Magic, Utterly Wicked, and other books. Dorothy will be presenting on Saturday during the festival. Temple Founder Christopher Penczak will also be on-hand and presenting on Sunday. Come for either day, or plan to come for both and camp overnight at the festival site! You can join us for late-night celebration around the sacred fire!
Tickets for Saturday's event are $25 and can be purchesed through www.templeofwitchcraft.org. Everyone wishing to attend must purchase their own tickets. We will meet at The Robin's Nest and carpool to the event. If you are willing to drive, please let me know how many people you can fit in your car.
